MLT Club Advent Calendar 2020 – How It Works

Welcome to the MLT Club Advent Calendar 2020!

This year has been rough for so many people, and while it brought its challenges for us we still consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have had our music, family and community as a steady rock.

The MLT Club has played a big role in that and we want to give back a little this Christmas season. We decided to turn this year’s advent calendar into a bit of a game and will also give away some prizes at the end as a Thank You for taking part!

Completing the Challenges:

1. You will find a new “window” appearing on the Overview Page every day at 9am GMT
   
2. Each day you will see a “daily challenge/task/question” and the amount of points you can earn by completing it. Sometimes we will simply give you questions to answer or a theme to write about, on other days you might have to go out in the real world or post a photo of something.
   
3. Complete the challenge. You don’t have to complete each task on the day it’s been posted. You have until the 24th to go back and complete all challenges and earn points.
   
4. Let us know that you did it/what you did by writing a comment and/or posting a photo in the comment section of each post. 

Counting the Points:

Most challenges will bring 5 or 10 points but sometimes there will be an opportunity to earn extra points to catch up. The number of possible points will always be visible on each day’s post with clear instructions on how to get them.

We will try to count up your points and give intermediate results throughout the month, maybe in one or two of the MLT Club Wires which we will keep sending out every Friday! Shortly after Christmas we will do the final count and prepare the prizes accordingly to get them sent out asap.

About Commenting/Posting:

Please be aware that everything you post in the comments (including any photos) will be visible to other MLT Club members and of course ourselves. We might also include some of your entries in our fun surprise for the 24th window.

Of course, you can also just enjoy the festivities from afar and watch us and other members complete each task but we warmly invite you to get involved. There is no pressure to join but we are sure it will be a fun time, even if you just chime in every now and then! The main purpose behind this is to have a good time, to get to know each other better and to give us an excuse to send out some prizes to properly say thank you! 😉 Speaking of which …

Prizes:

The more points you earn, the bigger the prize at the end but we will make sure to treat you all to a little something, even if you just do a handful of the tasks 🙂

There are three tiers of prizes, and every higher tier will include the prizes from all lower tiers:

You get up to 100 points:You will receive a digital Christmas card & a discount code in the Web Store.

You get up to 180 points:You will receive a “Digital Christmas Pack” to download, including a printable MLT Calendar 2021, background graphics for your phone or desktop and some other surprises. 

You get 180 points or more:We will send you a signed MLT Calendar for 2021 in the mail! ** We will use the address you used for your most recent order in the store as the shipping address for your calendar. If you would rather we used a different address or if you moved recently, please let us know beforehand.

Q: Will the 2021 calendar be available for sale for those of us who don’t win one?

A: We will produce a few extra so unless A LOT of people get enough points we will have some spare that we will then sell until they are all gone.
