Cavern Club Adventures – Photos

B/W photo of MonaLisa Twins playing guitar solos at the Cavern Club

With our residency in full bloom, we got to develop and refine our Cavern Club show every week, getting more and more comfortable on that stage with each performance. Sometimes we invited some of our friends to join us on stage, sometimes we met fellow musicians who happened to stop by at the Cavern. Luckily, Dad, Michaela or “Eric the Fish” managed to capture some of those memories with their cameras.

  1. Methinks your 2 years and 100+ shows at the revamped Cavern Club will go down in history as one of the most significant achievements in MonaLisa Twins history. You were doing this when you came into my life in the Spring of 2016, a season permanently imprinted in my mind and on my heart. When you announced in your last website that you were ending this engagement and moving on, I shed more than one tear. My bucket-list dream of traveling to Liverpool was dashed. For me to make such an expensive and exhausting trip to Liverpool at age 65, it would have been necessary to see you more than once in concert. I would have stayed for 2 weekends and been front and center at all of your Saturday night 7 pm and 9 pm performances on the center stage. Now, my final hope is that you tour the USA before I die or get too old and feeble for concerts; even yours. If you and your parents do come, and decide that Omaha would not yield the attendance you want, then I would fly virtually anywhere in the continental lower 48 states to see you. But keep in mind that McCartney has played to 18,000 in Omaha and 15,000 in Lincoln! Just sayin’

P.S. I am currently having discussions with Peter about co-writing your biographies; lol! But Sweet Lenore would have to agree for us to move to Liverpool or a suburb thereof. What are the rents like there? Stay lovely and groovy, young ladies!!!

  2. Some great pics of your time at the Cavern. I also really like the “These Boots are Made fo Walking” video that seems to really capture the vibe. It must have been an invaluable time and experience to have a 2 year residency there getting to experience the Beatles culture where the Beatles started too. Sometimes life brings along the opps when you needed it the most. Wishing you both all the very best in your musical journey. So happy to be a part of your magical bus ride!

  3. Cool… I’m kinda claustrophobic…. And being just a tad under 5 feet tall doesn’t help????????????… I’d of had to stand on a table to oversee everyone to see you perform or fight my way to the very front Centre to be able to see you from floor level… But these photos are All AwesomeFab and what live footage of your shows there that’s available on YouTube… Well it makes up for those not there in person because it gives us the spirit as though we were there… But in spirit we were anyways????????????????????????☮️????☕????✌️????????????❤️????????????????️????????????

    1. Ha ha JBJ! If I was there with you, I’d put you on my back and we would have plowed our way to the front, knocking folks over like bowling pins to get there. Of course we would have then spent the night in the pokey and the MLT would have to go there at midnight and play a Command Performance for all us prisoners, eh? It would be a night we would never, ever forget; lol!!!!

  4. LOVE the photos and the videos of you girls playing at the Cavern! I hope you video all your performances so that we who can not be there can see you in action! I love your live videos as well as the studio ones.
