A World Without Love – Photos

Rule number 1 when shooting a MLT music video: Make sure that under no circumstances, ever, the weather is pleasant and warm. We kicked off the year by recording a video for the Peter and Gordon song “A World Without Love”, a tune we’ve loved since our early teenage years. We had to fight off some children in the progress but managed to record the video at a little playground, a setting we thought would go well with the wondrous, almost childlike viewpoint of the music. Check out the final video here.

  1. I’ve watched all the ladies videos numerous times, and this is one I just can’t get enough of. Most Beatle fans aware that Paul had this song cached and that John & George razzed him about the “please lock me away” line. Still not sure why they never recorded it; or at least performed at a BBC Session. Anyway, the gals do a sublime version, with a top notch video to match. I get flashbacks to both the “Can’t Buy Me Love” segment from “Hard Day’s Night” when the boys frolic outdoors, and John in his Dylan hat from “Help” (I wanna believe that was Mona’s inspiration for wearing) while viewing.

  2. Awesome guys. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories. This was one of the very first of your videos I watched that eventful time I discovered you for the first time and stayed up all night to watch as many of your videos as possible, commencing with your 2007 live concert. ‘World Without love’ was always one of my favourite sixties numbers! Such a beautiful video!
