All I Have … Is Snow – Behind The Scenes Video

Remember our Everly Brothers cover from 2010?

It seems so long ago since we shot our video for “All I Have To Do Is Dream” during the snowiest of winters! Eight whole years ago (or a third of our lives … blimey!)! So just for the heck of it we recently went through all the things we filmed that winter and remembered just HOW white it was back in Austria.

Never in our dreams would we have thought that us goofing around in our backyard would make it onto the internet like that one day but we’re so glad we filmed it. We get snow like that in the western/alpine parts of Austria most years but to see that much in the East, where we are from, isn’t that common and normally doesn’t last very long. What’s it like where you are from? Here in the UK we had a tiny bit of snow last year which was quite exciting as it doesn’t happen every year. Has is started snowing in your part of the world yet? Or do you live south of the equator and are getting ready for the beach season? 😉

Since that song never made it on any of our albums, we wanted to give you a download version here in the MLT Club. Stay warm! ♥

If you’ve never seen the full video of the cover you can watch it here:

Yes young ladies, you would be right at home in Omaha. It has snowed 4x already and the last one of 6″ to 8″ is still covering the ground. Winter starts in 10 days; lol! If you know how to use a snow shovel, you are hired!!!

I am from Akron Ohio, just a little south of Cleveland the home of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. We don’t get the lake effect snow as bad as locations closer to Lake Erie, but we average about 50 inches of snow for the season. So far it has not been too bad, the worst weather is January through March…

Now I know why the bench Lisa laid down on looked so familiar, That’s where part of Won’t You Listen Now was filmed. Papa Rudi came to the fence and sprayed everyone with water. Much to everyone’s delight. Thanks Ladies for refreshing my memory!

This particular video is one of my favorites. I believe it was one of the earliest ones of you with your new hair styles and your harmonies are charming and beautiful. Lisa you must have been very cold when you fell in the snow but what a happy scene. So much fun. Loved the use of some of these shots in your “Two of Us” video which is simply an ingenious chronology of your happy lives up to that point. Thank you for posting the behind the scenes version.

I grew up in Minnesota and we usually got a lot of snow every winter. I live in Cleveland, Ohio now. We occasionally get a lot of snow, but mostly east of the city (so-called “Lake-effect snow”). We haven’t had a White Christmas in years. 🙁

Gee… Canada WinterWonderland Reminder… Well for most of Canada except on West Coast.. ( unless in Northern part of that province of British Columbia… Whereas for rest of Canuckers… Yep… This is exactly what it can be… Add in some insane deep freeze windchill factors in January /February… And that sums it up… I’m not fond of Winter but I’ll make the exception for Christmas Day and you both and this video❤️❄️☃️⛄

Absolutely adorable video! I love listening to you speak German. I don’t understand it, so I’m glad you put the words in, but I love it. Looks like you were having so much fun. We never see snow like that here unless it’s a rare event. Last time was back in the 1970’s. Remember and love the cover of the Everly Brothers. Their harmonies were great, but I think yours are better! Lots of love!!

Hi Mona & Lisa! Great video! We had 9″ of snow last month in the mid Hudson valley of N.Y. but it’s all gone now and this morning it’s raining hard. We normally get a few big snow storms, anywhere from 1-3 feet per big storm. When I was a kid MANY years ago it seems we had bigger storms though. Anyway, I love everything you do so I of coarse love that Everly Brothers cover too!

Thank you very much for the videos and the song download. I enjoyed watching the “Behind the scenes” video clip with lots of snow and you two playing around. I can remember winter seasons in my small home village Zschirla, which is situated about 50 km from Leipzig, with lots of snow in the 1980s and 1990s. But now, if there is any snow at all in Leipzig, it will mostly be wintery some weeks between January and March, White Christmas is just a beautiful song, not a real experience, nowadays. At least we have such beautiful videos like your’s being able to dream about white winter seasons … 🙂

Hi Mona and Lisa. Thanks for sharing the video. I also like the ones from the year before at Uluru as I live in Australia where our weather is just the opposite to Europes at the moment. I had the air conditioning on today already when I don’t normally need it until later in December. In my State of Queensland we are currently experiencing the worst bush fires in our recorded history. It is also very humid which makes things worse. Don’t worry, I don’t have any trouble staying warm!
Stay Groovy.

I love that early Everly Brothers video and many of yours from that time like the 2 at Ayers Rock as well. The Behind the Scenes video is just charming; thanks for sharing it. You both know how to have fun in the snow! I see the “shopping channel” experience goes way back 🙂 . In Vancouver BC where I’m at no snow yet, but the misty rain the Pacific Northwest is famous for has started, and we have frost in the morning. I hope we have a white Christmas, which we occasionally get, but I’m not too hopeful this year.
