She Loves You – New Video

“She Loves You” …

The UK’s best-selling single of the 60s. If you had to describe the British invasion or Beatlemania in one song, “She Loves You” would be a pretty darn good pick, wouldn’t you agree?

The Beatles and the Cavern Club go hand in hand. After all, if it wasn’t for the Beatles who played in the original Cavern Club nearly 300 times, it would not have earned its nickname “the most famous club in the world”.

So when we had the opportunity to play there 100 times between 2014 and 2016, we always made sure to pack as many Beatles tunes into our setlist as we could. After all, they were the reason so many people visited this Club, every single day of the year.

While we didn’t stick to a “Beatles only” setlist and snuck plenty of other covers and our originals into the mix, we still made sure every Beatles fan who attended would leave the place feeling satisfied. And “She Loves You” was always a fan favourite 🙂

It’s one of those songs that’s way more complex than it seems, and to make it sound good at the Cavern was trickier than it might look on video. But we loved it. A classic, important tune that definitely belonged on the set list.

We hope you enjoy the video,
Mona & Lisa

Loved it, love the way you always seem to really have fun and enjoy the moment. Reminds me very much of the Beatles themselves in the early days. Keep on rockin girls!

You embody the spirit of the early Beatles in Liverpool, capturing the essence of their songs at the Cavern Club. John and George would love “What You’re Doing,” with these treasured songs.

I loved it! I’m so happy you covered it since it is one of my favorite songs by the Beatles.

Mona and Lisa The cover song She Loves You is brilliant and flawless your sound is excellent. I look forward to your next video.
Good Luck
Lou

Started watching your videos of covers, and I like it so much that I brought 3 of your CD’s, but I always drift back to your videos on YouTube. Your original are great and videos for them are even better. Only wish you had shows in USA. I would love to see your show in the Carven Club. Maybe one day. Keep up the good work.

I always like your Beatles covers. They are so refreshing and authentic. Love the original songs you have been releasing lately. “Questionable” and “I Bought Myself A Politician” make me laugh every time I hear them.

As I recall, this was the very first Beatles song I ever heard. My next door neighbor and I were riding our bikes to school, and he had a small transistor radio hanging on his handlebars. When this song came on we stopped to listen to it in it’s entirety! I could hardly concentrate the rest of the day thinking about it, and couldn’t wait to hear it again! I love hearing y’all’s versions of these and the other classic rock songs y’all cover, not to mention your originals! Makes me want to live another 70 years, just so I can listen to your music every day!

Always great to hear your music and the Cavern Club sessions bring back so many memories. Keep up all the good work ladies.

I’m reminded of a near-contemporary movie script quote: “You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!”
That was a lovely version – true to the spirit of the original, but full of your own particular style too.

I think that “She Loves You” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand” were so filled with a new energy, new chordal structures (at least for that time), and a vibrant delivery that we just knew that the Beatles were truly a fantastic new sound and spirit. Mona and Lisa delivered a great cover on this video and – just like the Beatles back then – we can see the seeds of greatness in the MonaLisa Twins. We are so lucky to have you girls in our World at this time. I am very grateful for your friendship and incredible talent. Hugs, Brian.

Normally, I dont like cover versions. But you are just amazing and I love listening your versions of Beatles songs. Great job!!

Very good, great harmonies ! Excellent way to start the day 🙂🙂

Hey it’s 2am on Monday morning in NY and I had some difficulty sleeping, so I picked up my phone to take a peek and found this email with the video. Thank you:
The guitar playing and the bass & drums were fab. The folks in the audience were very fortunate to have been there. Good morning.

Excellent rockin’ cover . . . and “way more complex than it seems,” for sure!

BRILLIANT!!! Your performance , the camera work/videography, and sound are top notch across the whole concert.. I really enjoy watching these videos played consecutively the way it was performed at the Cavern on the video player at the MLT Club. It’s like seeing the whole show.

Do you know how much I would love to buy your CD’s!
Due to restrictions and not being allowed to shop online, I must be satisfied by finding you on your channel and enjoying your newsletters (every time again, ladies!)
As soon as the restrictions are gone (same one as Britney Spears) it will be the first thing I do – until then, keep up the great work!

This song was the reason I bought a guitar and learned how to play. I have the double CD of Live at The Cavern Club! Mona ⭐ and Lisa ⭐ are the best! 🎤 🎸 💖

Dear MLT, Thank you so much. It was so nice to find “She Loves You” in
my inbox. It’s one of my favorite Beatles songs. You do a fantastic job of
bringing the “Good Rocking. Energy” that makes us want to Dance. The
really Fine guitar work and your beautiful voices make it a winner. Cheers
to the Bass Player and Drummer as well. Thank you. My Best,Mark .

Your Beatle covers are great….And you can’t beat the harmony that comes from siblings.

A little weak on the “Whoooo’s” but other than that, a fine job as usual.

Great cover as you always do. The folks back in the early 60s who got to see the Fab4 at the Cavern before they made it very very big as John once said are such special people. They gave the most special memories only a tiny amount of people are lucky to have.

A truly joyful Beatles tune. It’s so clear how much you love this music, and that makes it all the better for someone like me who also loves it. Brings back such memories.

I remember when my younger brother, maybe 3-4 years old, so ’64-’65(?), used to stand in the corner in the kitchen before dinner and sing this. Lol.

He still can’t sing.

You, however, sing this fabulously, like everything you do. Thanks.
