To celebrate the 6th anniversary of our original album ORANGE last month, we were holding a Giveaway for some of our orange-themed merch and a vinyl test pressing of the record. We knew about George Martin’s Air Studio in London but never really followed the story from there on out and were surprisingly unaware of his expansion to the Caribbean Island of Montserrat.
MLT Club member Tomás shared the trailer of the documentary “Under The Volcano” with us and you can watch us react to it live in today’s video.
We went ahead and watched the full documentary last night. It’s fascinating, and we highly recommend it! It includes interviews with people from Mark Knopfler, Sting, Giles Martin and Stewart Copeland all the way to the cleaning and cooking staff who worked at the studio back in the 70s and 80s.

“The Duo Sessions II” Album Release Date: November 5
Over the last few weeks, we filmed/recorded a new batch of Duo Sessions which means we have enough for a new album! We even wrote a brand-new song for it which we’ll also perform during the Livestream on Sunday!

For today’s “What’s On The Table” episode we’re diving into the genius of Ian Anderson. “Aqualung” was Jethro Tull’s 4th studio album and released in 1971. We know some of you here are big prog rock fans but even if you’re not, we hope you’ll enjoy this video and will get a kick out of the band’s incredibly playing and clever songwriting. There’s so many fun moments on this record!

Six years ago today, our album ORANGE saw the light of day. To celebrate, we want to do a big and colourful orange Giveaway.
To enter is going to be really simple. Share any memory connected to the album, or one of its songs or videos in the comments below. This could be a recollection of when you first heard the album, a thought you had when you listened to one of the songs, a special moment in your life when the music was playing or maybe even a funny encounter you had when you went out wearing some orange merch. Any ORANGE memory!
As a refresher, you can listen to the whole album here. Above we also embedded the video we had posted back in 2017, all about the ORANGE year. Since it’s been many years since we shared that video, we’re sure many of you haven’t either seen it or forgotten about it. It gives you a bit of an insight into the album creation process 🙂

Back to our roots …
In today’s video we share some insight with you on what it was like for us growing up in Austria. We had been living there up until the age of 19, in a small village just outside of Vienna, Austria’s capital. Earlier this year, in July, we spent a month there to clean out our childhood home and get it ready for sale.
Naturally, this has brought back a lot of memories and with it, quite a lot of feelings and emotions. We thought we’d make this themed Q&A all about Austria to give you all a chance to ask questions about our childhood and to give us a chance to share some tales with you.

“In It For Love” is a song we wrote for our 2017 album ORANGE now performed as a Duo Session.
We love re-visiting and performing songs we wrote some years ago. Especially if we haven’t played them in a while, it doesn’t feel much different to covering another artist’s song. You have to relearn the chords and look at old videos of yourself playing to figure out how something was done. The best feeling is when you find yourself going “dang, that’s a clever little bit”, haha.
There is an older Duo Session (from 2018) of this song in the Club already but we wanted to record it again to the best of our abilities and as clean as we can to be able to include it in another future Duo Session album (hint!). 🙂
We have mentioned it here and there, but the two of us used to go horse riding as children and have always had a love for horses, and animals in general. That’s what must have inspired MLT Club member Jung to compile three clips for us to watch today, all about the healing power of horses.
It’s amazing to see the effect that horses can have on humans and I think it’s clear that animals often know, feel and understand much more than we give them credit for.
