Reacting To Our First Music Videos (15 YEARS LATER 😁)

Taking a trip down memory lane …

Over at the MLT Club we are currently posting daily reaction videos leading up to Christmas as part of the annual Advent Calendar – a tradition we have established at the MLT Club over the last 4 years.

Today we watched and reacted to some of our very first YouTube videos! We wanted to make the video available outside the MLT Club as well to give everyone on YouTube an idea of the antics we are currently getting up to in the Club and to join the fun for a day. πŸ™‚

We loved revisiting some of our oldest YouTube videos and seeing our 13-year-old selves again. We’ve come a long way since then and it’s beautiful for us to have this whole journey captured on YouTube to look back on.

Filming this made us feel incredibly nostalgic, slightly embarrassed but also terribly proud. Sometimes it is good to reflect on your beginnings and how far you’ve come since. Sometimes it’s also fun to poke fun at your past self a little bit.

If you want to keep seeing video like this one daily throughout December, then you might want to consider joining the MLT Club. There will also be a big MLT Club exclusive live-stream on December 23rd with live music, viewer interactions, and lots of fun stuff. All members also receive a signed Christmas card in the mail! December really is the best time to join πŸ™‚

We might see you in the Club or if not, we’ll see you on YouTube with a new video soon!

Hey Mona ! Hi Lisa !
Absolutely wonderful !
Great to see your “back catalog” of vids and where you came from .
Keep up the good work ! Any plans to tour (UK) soon ? Hugz x x

I really love you two, you are just too cute!
Are there any plans to perform in the U.S., specifically in the Chicago area? I’ll be the first to buy tickets!

Hi Mona and Lisa
Ain’t no sunshine your version is still one of my favourites I watch quite often same as All my loving you done a good version of that in the early days, not too much that I don’t like since the beginning to now
Cheers Rex

Hi girls. Showing your old video was a good idea. But I would liked to have seen more than short 4 second bursts. Seems your musical destiny started young. I would be interested to know stories of your Cavern days. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Hi you 🌹🌹 it’s really fascinating to lisren you guys . You were really god at playing even back then . And your personalities (❀️❀️) are wonderful it makes me feel good just by looking at you and listening to your own songs and the covers you do is really wonderful πŸ‘πŸŒΉπŸŽΆπŸŽΆ . Awesome i would say 😁
Merry Christmas to all of you β˜ƒοΈ

Hey MLT; while I can understand you ladies being hypercritical, you must look at it from a fans perspective. I see two darling, precious young girls diligently applying the hours of practice and research to know the lyrics of these songs in an unknown venue, being live performances. Absolutely beautiful how you’ve refined your craft and execute with incomparable excellence. I’m glad and touched that you have kept these early vids. With much love and adoration, Butch Frankenmuth Michigan U.S.A.

Hi, MLT ! It’s always very refreshing to hear you sing. And now that I’ve seen your very beginings, I understand better why you are so good at that ! Bravo !

Wow! that is great. I have twin granddaughter and they are 17 months this December. They are not identical but beautiful little girls!

It is amazing you’ve been in the music business this long as performers. Here in these United States, people in the music business are famous for not only eating their dead, but eating their live as well. I think that artists who start so young grow up here to be either lawyers or executioners.

Glad you stuck with it as I love your music!

I love your two singing. This warms my heart so much.
I am dealing from brain cancer and any chance I get to
feel some warms songs it takes me away from my reality.

You two are so cute, beautiful and fun! I could listen to you all day. And I LOVE your Austrian accents. You’re like 2 Angels ( or faeries). Have a Merry Christmas from Annapolis, Maryland!

Wonderful insight into your early work and your personal assessment of how you’ve developed.

I love that you can talk intelligently, seriously and humorously about yourselves, all at the same time – just as you do in the songs you write.

Thank you for the entertainment and for lifting me up whenever I need it.

Have a great Christmas.

Ladies,
Thank you for the fix so I could see your video and I was worth every second πŸ‘ also I think your music and musicianship are exceptional.
Keep on keeping on 🎸
Happy Holidays and stay groovy🌹
Aloha,
Bryan

Good luck girls, the stuff you do is great ! Please include I bought myself a politician.

Love Love Love you 2! Your music is so refreshing and natural! Merry Christmas from Winter Garden Florida!

I have followed the both of you since the very beginning. Believe me, there’s nothing to be embarrassed for! And it’s great to review al the songs you’ve done so far. Now I want to make a special praise for your father who was so clever to start you off, accompaning you on bass and voice. And I’m still thrilled by the songs you adapt. So go on with the music, Both covers and your own songs, it’s magnificent!
