Lazy Sunday – New Video

Lazy Sunday Afternoon …

We hope that’s what you’re having today. A laidback weekend, maybe accompanied with some good ol’ music. Let us get you started with this new video! 🙂

This is another clip from a show at the legendary Cavern Club from a few years ago. We’ve shared videos of that performance with you before and released the entire 28 songs on a double album last year.

We love the chaotic energy of this Small Faces tune. It’s one of our all-time favourite covers to perform live!

Feel free to share this video with your friends to wish them a happy Sunday, and of course you can grab the album that the song is on here.

If you’d like to watch more videos from that performance, you can find many, many more clips over at the MLT Club. You can find all the info on how to join here.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and as always … stay groovy!

  1. (I have posted it before) They are amazing; They are great; The Mona Lis Twins can make Oldies sound very contemporary, that’s a talent anyway. But they also sing superbly and play guitar (really) well. Still one of the best in this style of music. Good luck ladies

  2. Mona Lisa twins and band

Great cover song every song you do is better than the ordinal performers you have a great sound. Keep playing the 1960`s music no one performs the songs you pick better.

    Thanks
    Lou

  3. As I always say, another gem of a cover by the Mona Lisa Twins and so much energy and fun, I am playing the air drums with you both and people in the office are thinking I lost my mind , but that is ok because I love this version and you both make me happy to know that I found you both and your music and love being a part of this grooviest club on the internet. Keep it coming ladies. Just a hint to you all….wait till you see the video Kansas City and Revoution!!!

  4. Great performance, Ladies. The obvious enjoyment you get from performing is palpable.
I saw the Small Faces back in the day, and also Steve Marriott in Humble Pie. Marriott was an electric performer, you’d need to see him to appreciate it. I’m sure he would be delighted at your version of his great song.

  5. One of my most fave Small Faces tunes! Cheers for doing this ladies(& lads)! I’m sure Steve Marriot would bd chuffed!

  6. Love small faces& ichygoo park favorite ,bist Du zurück in österreich gegangen? Ich zurück ins Schwarzwald BadenBaden Region. Hotels hier Need live music;)

  7. That’s one of my all-time favorite songs from an all-time favorite band, The Small Faces. You did a great job girls, absolutely loved it!

  8. You are both very talented. I live in Australia and loved the Beatles era. When I heard you singing “Baby’s in Black” I started listening to you. By the way, some will not agree with me, but I think you do a better job of Baby’s in Black than the Beatles. I love the way you handle instruments, especially guitars. If I did not live on a pension I would definitely donate to you. GO GIRLS…

  9. That was fun!
I always wanted to learn more Small Faces songs, and that was a good one!
I just got Kenny Jones’ autobiography ‘Let the Good Times Roll’, so now I can finally catch up on the history of this seminal British band ????
Thank you Mona and Lisa for getting me started!

  10. Great tune! I can’t say that I’ve ever heard it before today. Very enjoyable! Great energy in your presentation as well. Thanks for sharing it….Best wishes and looking forward to your next release.

  11. Have loved your music since I was first turned on to it by my brother sometime ago. Keep on keepin’ on as some old sage said years ago. It looks good on you.

  12. Being health challenged, every day these days is a lazy day. You women are among some of my favorite cover artists. You two are so talented as instrumentalists, vocalists, performers, and teammates. You have distinct personalities and playing styles that work together to produce some of the nicest, and sweetest, no holds barred videos. Love the ones from the Cavern Club, but also love the studio videos, and location stuff. You show an excitement that seems to have been planted in you at birth! Keep doing it!
