Any Other Day – New Video

“Any Other Day” gets its own music video!

We filmed this video in beautiful Chester, a most picturesque city 30 minutes south of Liverpool. We are releasing it today, on February 21st, in honour of one of our earliest supporters, Steve from Miami, who passed away a few years ago. We have kept up the tradition of releasing a video for his birthday for many years now, and when it was time to pick a song, we chose what we think would have been his favourite track off our latest album “WHY?”.

That makes it the 7th song from that album to have its own video. And we’re not planning on stopping 🙂

If you enjoy it, please share it far and wide, sing it in your shower or whistle it on your way home from work. Thanks for watching ♥

As always, MLT Club members were able to see this video early, so if you, too, want to get Early Access to new releases and join our groovy community, we welcome you to check out the MLT Club!

Signed Studio Scribbles Available!

As we have done for all video releases from our new album so far, we have created limited-edition (100 copies) lyric art prints for “Any Other Day”. Each one is numbered by hand and signed by both of us! The sooner you order the lower the serial number. 🙂

They are great fun for us to put together and we love seeing them hung up on your walls. A big thank you for everyone who purchased one or all in the past, as it also greatly helps fund these music videos ♥

Please note: We have had major postal troubles here in the UK, and if you live abroad and have ordered anything with us since the start of the year it has likely not arrived with you yet.

There was a supposed cyber-attack on Royal Mail on January 10th which has caused the entire international branch to collapse. Only now are they slowly starting to reinstate alternative shipping methods and your parcels will finally be making their way through the system, but we couldn’t be more sorry about the delays.

Hopefully, things will improve from now on. We are also in the process of setting up a new (and more bulletproof) system for international orders, so instances like this won’t be as detrimental for our shop anymore. Thanks for bearing with us, for any questions please write us at shop@monalisa-twins.com.

Stay groovy,
Mona & Lisa

Love ROCKY ❤️ ❤️

This beautiful song is always in my head, thank you Mona & Lisa for this marvellous song that will last forever and ever. Merci

I’m a life long Beatle fan and you two keep hitting all the sweet spots for me. I’m sure if John was with us he would love you guys and maybe even play with you. PEACE-N-LOVE

That would be great, Jennifer! Really!!! And what about George? I’m sure, he also would love the girls.

Hey my birthday is Feb 21. I’ve followed you for a number of years. I enjoy the covers from the 60’s and a few of your originals. I found “Club 27” very interesting.

A warm romantic song with music and lyrics that most of us that have been in love can relate to in so many ways. The background scenery supports the song so well. It’s a very special song to bring back very good times.

Great tune and you harmonize so well. I assume it was filmed in London, but where about in particular

Chester, as they say above. Beautiful song, beautiful girls, beautiful performance, beautiful location. What more could one ask.

Richard Hodgson said it all (this is meant as a compliment in the best sense of the word).

Ladies, this could have been a track on ‘Beatles for Sale’ or even ‘Revolver’ so perfectly does it capture that earlyish Lennon/McCartney melody, harmony and ‘chord cleverness’. Your songs and instrumentation get better and better!

Lovely song, a pleasing arrangement, and a good performance, as always. Congrats!

A very sweet song. A very enjoyable video. So very well done. And Papa Rudi is a master of his craft.
Seeing Mona with the recorders reminded me that I still have my recorder that I played in elementary school. I think it was the 5th grade. It is made out of wood, not the cheap plastic that they began making them.
Looking very forward to see which video will be next from the new album.
Take care, Cheers,
Bobby

Fresh sound, great harmonies. Love the re-do of the classics. Wish they would hit the US.

Great song. I think you girls are fabulous. Please come back to Australia for a tour 👏👏👏

This is such a nice song. Did you write it yourself?. I will certainly send it to someone who is a bit sad.
Reminds me of a (lost?) friend who sighed:” there is not enough love in the world.” Unfortunately I cannot reach him. This could do so much for everyone, listening. Thanks so much🕊

Yes, Mona & Lisa wrote the song. It’s an original from their third original album called “Why”. Lots of great songs on the new CD.
Bobby

When visitors ask me why I have the Art Work for “Why” along side the studio scriibles for ‘I bought…” and “Questionable” on my Wall of Honour” next to autographs of Don Mclean, Cliff Richard and The Moody Blues, I show them one ( preferabl more) of your video clips.
Just OUTSTANDING, Ladies and thankes to Rudi and Michaela as well,,,

Ladies, you never cease to please both my eyes and my ears. Excellent is understating. More please.

Becoming my favorite on the album. The vocal and harmonies are sublime, and the video captures and conveys the warm familiarity of a lazy afternoon with friends. Well done.

Wow! Playing three recorders simultaneously! Jazzman Rahsaan Roland Kirk would be proud. Beautiful, sunny song. Thank you for the positive vibes. Keep’em coming, dear ladies. This world needs your collective good spirits and energy.

Beautiful song by beautiful girls, but nothing tops Sweet Lorraine, sorry!

Hi John,
Mona & Lisa wrote the song. It’s on their third original album, which is called “Why”.
There are so many good new songs on the CD. Check it out. Take care,
Bobby

Love it! Beautiful city, beautiful song, and beautiful women! Keep up the great work!

Another amazing song. Wonderfully sung by two immensely talented young ladies.
Thank you.

Great love song about life, fate, and a timeless state of humanity. Excellent video, also. Very, very well-written and well-produced piece. Dale Friday, EggMen

You two are so blessed: to have the talent and to be able to support each other singing – and playing all your instruments. Be happy.

Love it! Beautiful and fun, as always and what an incredible place to film!

This song is so good. It captures such a feeling as all great songs do. Thanks.

What Molly Nicosia said! It gave me the same happy feeling that the early Beatles songs did back in 1964! And the video was delightful too! Keep it up ladies! You are writing, playing, and singing in your own way and it’s great!

This is beautiful! Just my kind of sentimental song. Lovely chords and superb vocals. I’m SO Jealous!!!

The Mona Twins and their parent so Talentef
I love their music.
Love Rocky Canada

Thank you the twins! Keep on making us dreaming while listening to your songs :-))
All the best!
Hervé

Great song; great video. For some reason, it reminds me of Neil Innes’s “Rutles” songs–the later ones, not the “pop Beatles” ones. You go, young women!

Beautiful as always, I’ve been looking forward to a new video, thanks! You bring back some memories of the Fab Four, but this is your own sound.

Another great song. I loved the ‘choreography’ as you walked by the canal, and weren’t those pigeons well trained? Such perfect timing as they flew off at the end! (I imagine your father or someone standing behind the camera, flapping his arms wildly to scare them away.

I said it before and I’ll say it again – after watching your Bus Stop music video I told people, “I have just found my new favorite pop group!”

It still holds true.

Hi Mona & Lisa
Great song great video your singing was exceptional. I enjoy every song you do.
Lou from America

What a great song. Makes you feel relaxed and happy.

Reminds me of the Simon & Garfunkel song, The 59th St. Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy), which you also recorded.

You two are getting better and better with every album.

Twins, I love the new video for “Any Other Day”. It’s so cool the way you
stroll along in time with the music on a beautiful day in a beautiful place.
Definitely one of my favorites from the “Why?” album. Thank you, Mark

Another outstanding video from Why? Mood is right, simply having a wonderful….Recorders reminded me of the great Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Great blind jazz player a few decades ago. He would play three horns simultaneously!!

You’re gonna be more world-famous than the painting if you go on like that.

Absolutely fantastic songs – Bravo bravo bravo.
Almost a beautiful Beatles song (well even better than some) – but it belongs to you.
Bravo ladies 🙂

Lovely young ladies that sing the songs I like and no swearing or screaming

Beautiful pop song, easy feeling, good melody with peaceful vocal harmony. Just your style! Thank you…

I love listening to your songs, both covers and originals. Surely you two girls are as close to Beatles atmospheres as you can hear today. Keep it up!

A high quality musical creation from you, as always. Beautiful work by beautiful people. 💖

You can always get a feel good vibe from Mona Lisa Twins Music Videos. “Any other Day” is no exception…. The song’s style & melody is reminiscent of the 60’s Era yet it has a fresh feel and sound for today. Mona and Lisa you’re always right on point with any new song!

Any Other Day is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard that always transports me to such a wonderful magical place. I love the “one in 8 billion chance” feel the song evokes. You capture that feeling of falling head over heels in love for someone so perfectly in your beautiful song. Only masterful songwriters of your caliber now can accomplish this kind of magic! Seeing you both in the video with your stunning smiles that can launch a thousand ships is perfection. Loved seeing Lisa in her elements with the guitar walking and singing, loved seeing Mona with all those flutes, and the pigeon scene was amazing.

The lyrics and melody together make such beautiful feelings, I can’t get enough of this song, it melts my heart. Your singing, the flute, those poetic words, it’s just one incredible song. I absolutely love the song and video, it’s a work of art masterpiece.  THANK YOU so much for creating so much beauty. Steve will be smiling with joy again!
