Watch your back when watching our new video! No one knows what happened after the 3rd verse, so he might still be around … Maxwell swinging his Silver Hammer.
Recently we travelled back to the 60s to record “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer“, and then even further back to film the video for our version. But on the way something must have gone wrong with our time capsule cause we multiplied! Phew, from now on the stage at the Cavern Club will be even more crowded 😉

Can’t believed I haven’t commented on this before. It has been among my favourites since I first saw it. Papa Rudi deserves an Oscar for his role as The Mime Maxwell. Great arrangement of the song brought to life by the deceptively complex video.
I’m old enough to remember “Silver hammer” from its original incarnation and TBH was never impressed by it. The Twins’ version however is something else. They’ve added a certain fizz, a touch of 1920’s sexiness and at the same time comedy to this dark song. The video is entertaining and had me smiling from start to finish.
