About the Album
The MonaLisa Twins’ much anticipated follow-up original record to their debut album “When We’re Together”. 5 years have passed since the release of original material while the Twins played countless shows all over Europe, moved their residence to England, and learned some important life lessons. In other words … they lived life.
In comparison to their first album, which was still written in their teens, ORANGE gives a more mature, sometimes satirical, yet overall still light-hearted approach to topics we all deal with. Love, community, doubt, the past and future and the generally unsettling direction society seems to be taking.
While staying true to their passion for melodic, quirky songwriting, plenty of harmonies, a very “60s” sound and twangy guitar licks, this album branches out into new territories and incorporates very psychedelic but also earthy, bluesy, sometimes even jazzy tones. Built upon everything you loved about their debut album, you can expect to hear a more experimental and very tongue-in-cheek side of the MonaLisa Twins.

I totally, totally, totally love this album. Even if it only contained the one profoundly beautiful track, “Still A Friend of Mine”, with it’s powerful yet minimilistic grand piano, sumptious lyrics and the purest of lead vocals by Lisa Wagner with beautiful harmonies added by Mona, and strings – but there is so very much more. The heart-crushing “Close to You” and heart-warming “You Can Always Count On Me”. Each track has a slick and highly catchy melody and chorus allowing you to croak along (in my case) to the thoughtfully provided and inspirational lyrics that leave you breathless with admiration for the sheer song-writing, music-making, harmonisation and breadth-of-musical styles embodied in these wonderfully talented ladies. And as if that were not enough, they also designed their own stand-out-from-the-crowd album cover!

Artists probably prefer to discuss their most recent work. However, new fans of MLT can enjoy a large collection of high quality music at their own pace. For the listener, the process of fully hearing all the subtle harmonies, the practiced perfection of the instrumental work and percussion, the carefully-added keyboard enhancements, and how they are all skillfully mixed together … takes time and concentration. MLT’s music deserves that attention.
It is clear that a lot of thought, skill and care go into the preparation of all MLT albums. Orange and its original music is well-supported by narrative, performance and behind-the-scenes videos – so fans can experience even more of MLT and their music.
One could write at much greater length about the attractive features of each song on this album. Still a Friend of Mine is simply a thing of absolute beauty in its sentiment, arrangement and performance. The guitars return for Sweet Lorraine – a deft bit of storytelling which begins with an ominous progression of notes and ends semi-tragically, but with one of the best/funniest lines on the album. Even without JS’s blues harp on Waiting for the Waiter, this song would still be a real musical treat in yet another musical style; its video’s allusion to the 1960s, and waiting for the foot-dragging social status quo to change, adds another dimension to the song. With great energy and skill, Club 27 drums, rocks and riffs its tribute to young departed musicians. The gentle and sweet Count on Me makes me think of Appalachian folk music – as MLT shows their versatility in this style of music, too. Once Upon a Time and its related videos are so beautifully done!
The lost craft of album art is alive and well with the imaginative lyric booklet design. The behind-the-scenes video shows that the art’s creation also involved a considerable degree of self-sacrifice by those involved in its wild photo-shoot!

What a great album. To point out every individual highlight is impossible. The Twins are showing they are not afraid to dive into unchartered waters with the variety of songs on this CD. From the sweet and beautiful “Close To You” and “Count On Me” to the playful pop sounds of “That’s Life” and “Sweet Lorraine” or flat out rockin’ on “Club 27”. Then a taste of some sultry blues with “Waiting For The Waiter”. John Sebastian on harp and Mona on slide guitar is like Bourbon and velvet. If that is not enough just throw in “Still A Friend Of Mine” which to me is a masterpiece on the same level as songs like Imagine or Sounds Of Silence. So beautiful. I think years from now MLT fans will look back on this song and album as an absolute classic.

This CD titled ORANGE…which just happens to be Lisa’s favorite color is a wonderful album of “strange” songs that are Futuristic and Funny but in a sense really probable…serious songs and even one about the dead…there are two songs with special guest John Sebastian of the Lovin Spoonful on the blues harp taking us back to “Once Upon a Time” and another “Waiting for the Waiter” a strange song with Lisa begging the waiter to give her the change for the meal she had paid for in this restaurant on a very rainy day and Mona on Slide guitar with Sebastian’s blues harp all giving you the listener an eerie feeling as you here rain pouring down…then there’s a song “Close To You” that seems to be really personal as if it could be about a true relationship by Lisa…Mona creates another type of relationship with “Sweet Lorraine”..a relationship that could be jealousy deathly….my favorite on this CD is about death..a song titled “Club 27” which refers to the musicians and singers that all died in real life at the age of 27…but the sound the beat of this song is really rocking to the point it could be approaching heavy metal..I mean it truly is different from any song these girls have ever written….oh yes this is an original song album…it swings from one mood to another and when it comes to the end where Lisa is “Still a Friend of Mine” the mood swings again with Papa Rudi in his dress whites playing the piano to this beautiful ballad with 3-string orchestra instruments providing a finish that leaves the listener begging for more.

Being introduced to Mona and Lisa via their more acoustic YouTube videos the amount of diverse musicality on this album was an instant and pleasant surprise. It’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into its creation and it offers a great range of styles.
1. The Future – Whilst similar to the start of a few ELO albums this intro sets the up the album nicely so listeners don’t feel comfortable in knowing what to expect next! The future is bright (and maybe not just orange!) and we hope the master plan works.
2. No More Worries Company – A bright sparkly tune in a music hall style with upbeat lyrics encouraging us to pass on all our problems for the girls to fix! If only we could, but hearing such music will help a lot.
3. Once Upon a Time – Starting off as the missing link between Rubber Soul and Revolver with great blues harp by John Sebastian keeping the groove moving. A tale of love and fun in a world of music. With a great range of 60’s guitar sounds, feelings and lyrical references, Rock ‘n’ Roll will never die if the MonaLisa Twins have their way.
4. Close to You – Early 60’s musical style tribute to a lost young love which is causing heartache until the past finally fades away. Lovely guitar and drums.
5. It’s Alright – Being misunderstood at school with a head full of musical dreams and realising it’s alright to follow your own path when things will eventually come good. Classic guitar throughout with a Beatles ’63 style. The delightful question & answer chorus adds to the sense of confirmation that the right path is being followed in the end.
6. Waiting for the Waiter – With a laid back deep south vibe performed with John Sebastian this song about waiting for the waiter can be applied to a life waiting to be rescued from being stuck in a groove whilst the rest of the world proceeds all around at a faster speed. A real toe tapper.
7. In it for Love – Fantastic guitar playing in this joyful song about love. With words knowingly acknowledging that their music may appear to some listeners as being out of fashion, to lovers of good honest music this fashion never dies. Love the Queen beginning and Beatles ending!
8. Count on Me – A beautiful melody and chorus feature in this song of shared love and companionship. James Taylor would die for such a song.
9. Sweet Lorraine – A slightly stronger vocal style as Mona takes over for this song of unrequited love at a dance hall where the emotions of love cause extreme and deadly behaviour in the “pretty nice girl with a touch of insanity” (do we know this girl?). The story does not end well of course but the song takes us through all of the emotions as they lead the girl her to her eventual destiny.
10. That’s Life – This is such a great upbeat song about life and its meaning as each day can be so different, some days you can feel magical and other days you just want to hide away. Backing vocals are also spot on and also includes a Harrison-esque guitar break. There is a fantastic video for this song with an amazing performance by Mona (second only to the Bus Stop video!).
11. Club 27 – Direct from a hazy beat club, this rocker is a story about the infamous virtual Club 27 and is clear that you cannot stay up in the stars for too long as the price you pay for living this way may be too high (based on the shared fate of Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones and Jimi Hendrix who all died aged 27). Fantastic guitar playing at the end which is reminiscent of Eric Clapton – how does Lisa do it?
12. Still a Friend of Mine – A lovely final track with sublime vocals from Lisa (which rise to new heights) and great piano. With some little touches of Julian Lennon’s Saltwater, Paul McCartney would have been pleased to write such a song himself. The strings add a new dimension to the music as this tale of people or society who do not value the things that really should be valued (but regardless will still be considered a friend) concludes the album with a plea for love to take over.
In conclusion this a great album showcasing Mona and Lisa’s amazing musical abilities and has the confident feeling of two people who totally share the joy of creating this music. The fact that they can each play so many different instruments (along with special contributors) brings a great variety and range to the playing styles on the album. The bass is spectacular throughout with a lovely warm sound for all the instruments and everything has clearly been expertly produced. The vocals are always so clear and not mixed into the background as per the auto-tuned compressed style that modern music has unfortunately evolved into. Musical influences permeate the album but always to its advantage and it’s clear that Mona and Lisa can master almost any genre from music’s recent past with ease and carry it forward into the future with confidence and style.

I was introduced to the MonaLisaTwins through their collaboration with an artist from my generation, John Sebastian, and had to learn more about them. My first thought was that, as I have just turned 70, I am probably not the demographic they are trying to reach. But after reading some of the other reviews, I see I am not the only one in my age group that loves their music. And while the covers of 60’s music are a delight to hear, it’s the original songs capturing the feel of that era that are most remarkable. Lucky for me I am not one who is stuck in the past, listening to only the “original hits” by the original artists. But it is hard to find current music I can relate to. I guess what I am trying to say is that I love what I’ve heard so far and look forward to exploring more of their music.

Freshness is written all over the tracks and the cover of Orange. It’s definitely a step forward in making your own music, while absorbing the classic 60’s sound and style. One thing that tells me that you have succeeded is the fact that my kids love the album. What’s even more important is that the newest generation, my five years old granddaughters can’t get enough of Orange. Well, they love the Beatles, so it was expected in a sense. I just bought the complete collection of all of their albums just a couple weeks ago. I had heard of them through the years, but never heard them. I finally did. About two months ago, I listened to song after song on YouTube. I realized that I loved every single thing that I was hearing. I have been going through all of the CDs and just enjoying these beautiful young musician’s performances one after another. This particular album, ‘Orange’ is outstanding. Personally speaking, my favorite song of their own songs that they wrote, is on this album. ‘Still A Friend Of Mine’ I have to admit, I’ve listened to and watched it well over a hundred times. I would buy this CD just for that song, but that’s me. Luckily however, every single song on the album is amazing. There’s a really special treat also on a couple of the tracks. John B. Sebastian of The Loving Spoonful joins these two phenomenal musicians, and adds his own special touches on the blues harp (harmonica) that he is so well known for. Perhaps you’ll remember him better for the theme song of ‘Welcome Back Mr. Kotter’ depending on your age. I promise you that you won’t regret your purchase in any event. These two young ladies are bottled sunshine!

O.K. my first question is “how did this get under my radar?” What a great album!
Having only just become aware of the MLT I now have6 cd’s and eagerly await the next one’ original or covers.
From the delightfully playful “no more worries company”, the endlessly referencing hippy trip of “once upon a time” to “club 27” ( what a rocker!!) this album and its creators are just refreshing, enchanting and yes, groovy.

Hi, MonaLisaTwins and MLT Universe! I love this album! It is the first CD I ever purchased from MonaLisa Twins, and I loved it from the start! If I said I had a favorite track, then I would think of another one and I don’t know if I’d pick just one. I love them all. I will say that the “That’s Life” video is one of the first I ever saw when I first “discovered” MonaLisa Twins; there is just something about the sound, and then in the video, I fell in love with Mona and Lisa’s playfulness (especially Lisa chewing on her hair and then Mona sitting so passively during the video but then being the one to act most upset when the TV malfunctioned. LOL — It’s things Iike that which fans can relate to and love. I love “Once Upon A Time,” and I re-“discovered” John Sebastian and Lovin’ Spoonful also because of it (he plays harmonica (or mouth-organ) on the song, and is in the video) so thank you, Ladies!! And “Still A Friend of Mine” brings tears to me every time, during the song bridge (especially when they sing “so we might start to talk about what we don’t dare to see, and maybe find the child in you and me”) and it reaches right into your soul when they sing “and only love will set us free.” This album runs the whole spectrum of emotion, including the dance-and-feel-good “No More Worries Company.” It has it all! First I have to say I love the cd Cover. I enjoyed watching how Rudy comes up with a way to do this in their own Dinning Room. Just amazing how everyone worked together, Rudy, Michaela, Mona and Lisa and made it happen. Great Family and Team Work. The thing with music especially your own music. You want your next cd to be better than the previous one. Ladies you have done that here. Congratulations. I will say this but my favorite original song by you is The Wide Wide Land. Orange – Where to I start. Ahh !The Future. This reminded me of the Beatles NO.9. I was waiting for George to say Eldorado No More Worries Company. Was this song about caretaker in a nursing home? Once Upon A Time dealing with the Woodstock Generation. I was at that festival I enjoyed the video of this song. Seeing John Sebastian in his tye dye jacket. I can see him on stage in my mind. Love the words to close to you. It’s all right. It’s ok. Where there is a will. There is a way. Great Line. Waiting for the waiter. John Sebastian was great in video. You girls are to nice. I would have track the waiter down. Just kidding … I’m in it for love. Great singing by Lisa. Song had an old time flare to it. Love it. Count on Me a great duet. Both your voice are angel like. Sweet Lorraine more like a jealous Lorraine.
Good song.. Now That’s Life – My second most favorite song.. So Cool.. Life experiences, peaks and valleys. Also Mona great harmony it makes the song. Club 27 song about all the stars we lost at that strange age. Want to stay away from that Club. Now what I think is the best song lyric wise and music is Still A Friend of Mine. Lisa great vocals on this song. Very haunting but great. Touches the heart.

There’s no word in the English language that rhymes with “Orange”, which is an apt title for an album that is something truly unique. Nothing quite like it, at least in this century. I think I stumbled on your music accidentally from the videos, and like many others have said, it’s easy to get addicted to your energy, creativity, professionalism, humor, and just plain love of craft. You make it look easy, which is the surest indication that it is not—there’s a lot of hard work there I can tell, and that is much appreciated…
In these days where a simple groove passes for a song, or a repetitive rap somehow qualifies as a “tune”, it’s nice to see musicians who study and can apply what music actually means. It’s not only a good tune, but also clever lyrics, an inventive arrangement, and in the case of putting an album together, even things like album sequencing. Orange has all that and more.
There’s a lot of love of music history that shines through, and so many influences in the songs that it’s interesting just to look at the album from that perspective. But to do that would downplay the originality of the work itself, which is considerable. No doubt, you could probably write and play in multiple genres, and over the years, I hope that happens. It’s quite something to see the body of work already, and exciting to imagine where this all might go next.
But for now, I’ll settle for the song cycle of Orange, probably the most inventive album I’ve heard in years. The opening track, the spoken montage of all things pointing to the future, seems to me an apt statement to lead off with—sort of a more economical “Revolution 9” that actually almost makes sense. “No More Worries Company” suddenly takes you to the land of ABBA meets Neil Innes writing a Rutles song, somehow filtered through the lens of Ray Davies, which I have to say is not what I expected, but that’s the point I suppose. It’s not just about copying the Beatles, but mining those who mined the Beatles and creating something entirely fresh… which naturally leads into “Once Upon a Time”, which could very well be a long lost Bangles track from one of their two underrated 21st century albums…
The first show-stopper is “Close to You”, which somehow actually evokes the phrasing and style of Karen Carpenter’s voice in the bridge of a completely original song that channels both “Yes It Is” and “This Boy”. At this point, I’m asking myself, just what planet did these two come from? And are there more of them?
The rest of the album takes so many challenging twists and turns, a simple review cannot do it justice—only repeated listens can. So buy the album and do that. I love the multiple lyrical references to older songs sprinkled throughout, mostly titles from songs of a bygone 60s era, but nice to hear like sonic Easter eggs. I won’t spoil those. And musically, the album is all over the place in a White Album sort of way; as soon as you thought you figured out where it’s going, it’s headed down another road. Some highlights:
“That’s Life” sounds to me like the White Album meets a better version of ELO.
“In It For Love” could be 1967-era Mamas and Papas minus the Papas… and ends with the same flourish as “With a Little Help From My Friends” without the Ringo…
“Club 27” is an unexpected blast of The Who crossed with Bo Diddley with a hint of Elvis Costello and maybe late 70s punk-era “X”, one of my favorite LA bands of that or any time… and along the way, the song manages to sprinkle the titles of at least a handful of songs like ice cream on a strawberry rhubarb pie…
“Count on Me” is a simple and plaintive piece of folk sitting right in the middle of it all. Could be Jake Bugg in the shoes of Joni Mitchell, a call for affirmation that plays like a rest stop on desert highway.
But the album’s closer is the real step up, a melody worthy of Elton John, in a beautiful spare piano arrangement that could be on one of his classic albums of the early 1970s… except that it’s on Orange, one of the best albums of the 21st century.
For me, the Kinks come to mind more than the Beatles on this album, almost like Ray Davies was hanging out in the closet behind the bathroom in the studio. That’s especially true on the songs with an overtly European sensibility, notably the ones farthest from rock and roll. That’s the great thing that 60s British groups brought to American rock and roll—a sense of European melody and formality, plus a fearless love of kitsch. When I was a kid growing up in Germany in the late 1960s, I loved the idea you could hear American top 40, polkas, Greek folk songs, and of course things like the Beatles, and somehow it all worked together without changing the station. That’s how I think of Orange—it’s like listening to Radio Luxembourg, Armed Force Radio Network or the BBC in 1968 or ’69. I love that.

I found you on You Tube and thought beyond having sublime vocal talent these young ladies can also play their axes. On Orange I listened to a heightened set of songs, all original and all at the same time making me look back and say oh its happening again.
I am 70 and have worked in the music business as a sound engineer for 36 years. You choose the band or solo performer and I probably have worked them. But this is thrilling to see talent explode at such a high degree and prove it’s point in the songs you wrote. Both ladies have angelic voices and play their axes like highly competent old timer’s! I’m supporting you and spreading the word for as long as I I am allowed to join in this wonderful adventure , the Mona Lisa Twins are Fab!..
I only wish I had better luck with the club as I joined for a month and found it very cool but not as intuitive for shall I say an old timer like me 🙂 Please keep writing your new songs as they echo the future and praise the past. No auto -tune, just great vocals and that wonderful thing that happens with family, like Don and Phil Everly… you are tied to each other vocally.
One day I hope to see you in person and I will give you a standing ovation for bringing back real talent into a rather bland music field in many ways. I haven’t found one CD of the catalog that I skip and even your little additions like the extra guitar part on This Boy pleases me no end. I am sure if George was here , he’d approve 🙂 Keep busy, stay brilliant and your Father is like Sir George Martin with his use of production, always tasty yet challenging…

I recently got the bundle of “When We’re Together” and “Orange” CDs. To me (and my wife), the “When We’re Together” CD is an ode to the Beatles in particular, and to the early 60s British Invasion sound in general. It’s based on many of the riffs and formats that were popular back then, and we enjoyed it. However, the “Orange” CD takes what these girls have learned and absorbed, and sets them on their future course. The vocals, lyrics and melodies are all steps forward, and the nuances in the music are both subtle, and, at times, striking. My favorites on the CD are “Waiting For The Waiter”, “Count On Me”, “That’s Life”, and “Still A Friend Of Mine”. The singing, playing and writing talent are all there. Keep bringin’ it.

I first came across the MonaLisa Twins on Youtube. I am a huge Beatles fan, and I have seen every cover band out there. Watching these videos made me want to get on a plane ago to Liverpool to the Cavern Club. The style, musicianship, harmonies and the freshness of their sound were captivating and so refreshing. The girls looked like they were having as much fun as their audience. It was only natural to wonder what their original music would be like. I took a leap of faith today and bought their two albums. I listened to ORANGE on the way home from the hospital. I am an Anesthesiologist. I am so glad I bought this album. I was at times stomping my foot, laughing, tearing up, trying to remove the lump in my throat and feeling like these girls were my friends. I have not bought an original music album in many years, and this album has to be heard by everyone. I believe that MonaLIsaTwins is about to start being discovered by the world. I’ve only listened once to “Close to You.” I know I’ll do it again sometime. But about halfway through that one and only time so far, I found myself doing something I hadn’t done in years. I was just bawling and sobbing and thinking vaguely of my childhood. I suppose I had expected something more like the Carpenters’ “Close to You.” This was far beyond. And real. I just happened to discover these very talented young ladies on FB recently. Liked what I heard and bought the whole package. I received my order on Friday and listened (just listening to the live CD now) to all but the Christmas CD. I was stunned and amazed at the talent of these young ladies. I started at the first CD and came forward and you can certainly hear the maturity in their voices and their arrangements.I had to keep checking the dates to make sure I had figured their age correctly for each CD/track. In my opinion, you are old souls, you have been weaned correctly, congrats to your parents for guiding you in the right direction ! lol. The other thing I appreciated was the fact with the covers, you didn’t change the lyrics to reflect that it was a girl singing the song, you kept them original, bravo !
Sorry, I am just going to do the one review even though I purchased the complete package. The original tunes are catchy, melodic and nice to listen to . There is no screeching, continued warbling, just great vocal harmonies and for such young ladies amazing musicianship. I must say and only in the early disc, I did find the production a little muddy in some tunes, but that improved over the course of the discs as well. Well done Ladies ! Keep up the great work. Maybe one day you will make it over to Canada ! It shows that you have worked hard to be the performers you are today. !

I first heard the MonaLisa Twins on YouTube and have enjoyed their cover tunes. Their original music from Orange illustrates the ladies can write and play their own music and are terrific at harmonies.
“That’s Life” is a favorite of mine but I especially enjoy the call-and-answer singing in “It’s Alright” and the emotion in “Close to You.” The CD is full of roses.
I’m re-listening to the CD right now…it’s going back into the car with me for driving this week. Another great job, Ladies.

I am a child of the music of the 60’s and 70′, and that is what I hear all over this album. From the mostly Beatlesque sounds all over the album, especially Once Upon A Time, That’s Life, Close to you to the Cavern era Beatles in Club 27. This CD of originals is as bright and melodic as the MonaLisa Twins terrific Beatles (and other) covers. Standouts are “Once Upon a Time,” “Waiting for the Waiter,” “That’s Life,” and “Still a Friend of Mine.” When they harmonize, it’s magic and the real strength of their music. The Beatles’ influence is evident on a number of songs, but that is no criticism.
They are genuinely talented musicians and singers who have slogged through their share of performances at clubs and radio stations. Here’s hoping that this CD will bring them a wider–and deserved–audience.

First of all, let me congratulate MonaLisa Twins on their marketing and presentation. When, by return of post, I received the package containing ‘Orange’, I was impressed with not only how easily the CD was accessed, but also how quickly the splash of ‘orange’ set the style.
Because marketing and presentation are so important in today’s increasingly competitive world, it’s not an infrequent experience to discover that substance fails to live up to style. Not, however, in the case of ‘Orange’. The concept of 25-year-old multi-instrumental twins singing close harmonies fills us with expectations. agreeable. From the moment we open the CD package we want it to work. To find that it greatly exceeds all expectations is a joy!
Taking inspiration from Lennon and McCartney sets the twins apart from, I guess, all other aspiring musical 20-somethings. Yet there is no plagiarism here. The Mona and Lisa use the Beatles as an inspiration, not a template. They have an abundance of their own musical creativity. Consummate musicianship is evident throughout their work; production standards (in their own studio) are high. .
‘Still A Friend Of Mine’ is outstanding because of the lead vocal, harmonies subtly placed and the skilled George Martin-style use of additional instrumentation to provide enhancement as the song progresses. ‘In It For Love’ is almost as effective: a clever lyric in a happy tune excellently arranged! Indeed, there are no weak spots in any of the tracks – apart from perhaps a slight loss of clarity on ‘The No More Worries Company’ . But I’m nit-picking here. Even this one I’ve played over and over again!
As a musician and radio presenter, I play music all the time. This album is the most refreshing I’ve listened to for a while. Congratulations, Wagner Family! Well done, Mona and Lisa! I wish you all success with future projects!

“Orange” by lovely MonaLisa Twins is an excellent pop album, not perfect but great enough to make you smile and enjoy some really good songs and the heavenly harmony vocals that these two can do. All the songs are written by Mona and Lisa and most of them works very well. I´m not very fond of the opening sound collage “The Future” and the following swing style song “No More Worries Company” though the singing saves a lot but what comes after that is pure ear candy. I like all the rest of the songs but my biggest favorite is the beautiful “Close To You” and I really hope to see video from that. John B. Sebastian blows bluesy harp on two of the songs. “Waiting for The Waiter” is one of the highlights of the album too and excellent guitar work and great singing reaches too the blues feeling. But as I said all the songs from track 3 to the end of the album are good. Keep up the gppd work and stay groovy.

I have discovered that if you have a MonaLisa Twins song stuck in your head, the best thing to do is to listen to another MonaLisa Twins song, and get that stuck in your head instead. I had the intriguing “Count On Me” on repeat in my brain, but then I watched the video for their anthem “Once Upon a Time” on YouTube and that seems to have taken over. Can’t complain. They’re both very good. So’s the rest of the album they’re on, ORANGE.
The MonaLisa Twins are Mona (vocals, mainly drums and rhythm guitar) and Lisa Wagner (vocals, mainly lead guitar) with their father Rudi Wagner on bass and piano, co-writing the songs, and producing. On this album there are a couple of tracks with John Sebastian, formerly of the Lovin’ Spoonful, sitting in on blues harp. The Twins have been posting YouTube videos since the sisters were about 14, many of them covers of Beatles songs. The Beatles connection goes deeper: About four years ago the family moved from their native Austria to Liverpool, and the Twins later had a two year residence playing every Saturday night at the Cavern Club.
I’ve really been enjoying ORANGE. You can call it a throwback if you like, but there’s nothing wrong with being influenced and inspired by some of the best music of the past, calling back some of the qualities that have been lost in our push to the present day.
Moods range from melancholy to upbeat to downright slapstick. “No More Worries Company” is a ton of fun, but pointy; careful you don’t get jabbed by it.
Then there’s the darkly goofy “Sweet Lorraine”. I had ORANGE on shuffle play with the Twins’ Beatles cover albums and “Sweet Lorraine” came up immediately after “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”. Now that’s a medley! But honestly… “Sweet Lorraine” is the better song of the two. I’ve never been a big fan of “Maxwell”, but “Lorraine” hits the target “Maxwell” missed.
Fifty years after Abbey Road, not only are the children of that era still listening to the Beatles, but many of their children and their grandchildren are too. The MonaLisa Twins are not only listening but learning and putting their own spin on the music of that time, with joyous results.

I am a very recent convert to the Mona Lisa Twins and their beautiful vision after discovering their amazing archive of work on YouTube, stretching back over ten years. I immediately thought to myself, ‘why hasn’t anyone told me about this’ and I haven’t wasted any time making up for my loss. I have now purchased everything that the Mona Lisa Twins have produced musically and am transported to the sixties where I revelled in the anticipation of the next Beatles or Stones release. Now it is the next MLT release!
Orange is a must have album for anyone who appreciates well written, sung and performed music that is perfectly produced. Like Sgt Pepper’s, it gets better with each listening and also includes the lyrics on the inner sleeve so you can follow along, as with that Beatles’ record just over fifty years ago. Briefly, following are some of my notes on each track.
No More Worries Company – Mona & Lisa share the lead on this opener written mainly by Rudolf I believe. A catchy ‘Roaring Twenties’ style musical assuring us we have nothing to worry about. As you listen to this album, all your cares will disappear, I promise!
Once Upon A Time – Featuring Lisa on lead and Mona harmonies. This will transport you back to the psychedelic late sixties and the ‘dawning of the age of Aquarius, complete with the language of the day, spurred along by Sebastian’s blues harp. A wonderful indulgence!
Close To You – Also featuring Lisa on lead, Mona harmonies. A lovely 60s style ballad about lost/found love.
It’s Alright – Featuring Mona “Teachers”, Lisa verses, Both chorus. Spontaneous and playful with the twins beautiful intertwining vocals a special feature. They work together seamlessly.
Waiting For The Waiter – Lisa on lead, Mona harmonies. An excellent bluesy number featuring Lisa’s very sensual voice accompanied by Sebastian’s blues harp.
In It For Love – Lisa on lead, Mona harmonies. A bubbly number that for some reason reminds me of the sixties again. Is it the kinks’ ‘Dedicated Follower of Fashion’, the Rolling Stones ‘Out of Our Heads’ or perhaps Herman’s Hermits ‘I’m Into Something Good’?
Count On Me – Lisa 1st verse, then both. Initial idea formulated in the dark by Lisa during a blackout. Rudolf contributed the chorus. A sublimely haunting and gentle tune with matching lyrics philosophising on ‘what’s it all about’.
Sweet Lorraine – Mona on lead, Lisa harmonies. A bitter/sweet story with a deadly twist, perhaps! You’ll need to listen to the lyrics carefully to find out! Listen out for the trumpet and I’m sure you can also hear a tenor horn or French horn there somewhere. Now where could they be coming from?
That’s Life – Lisa on lead, Mona harmonies. A fun song about the ups and downs and twists of life and how important it is to seize the moment. Partnered with an excellent and hilarious video. ‘Life, give it a chance ……….. Before the book closes’!
Club 27- – Mona on lead, Lisa harmonies. A real rocker in tribute to real rockers who never had a 28th birthday. Mona on lead vocals showing she has true rock cred to go with Lisa’s magical guitar work. What a blast!
Still a Friend of Mine – Lisa lead, Mona harmonies. A sublime ballad featuring Papa Rudi on piano and Lisa on lead vocals with Mona in perfect harmony. Truly beautiful song also accompanied by a beautiful video. Not to be missed.
Do yourself a favour. Order a copy immediately. And if you haven’t already, double up with their truly awesome first album ‘While We’re Together’. You won’t be disappointed.

My first purchase of MLT Music and I was not disappointed. The things that impressed me were:-
1. The Variety of styles from Nonsense songs (No more worries company) to Classic Piano Ballads (Still a friend of mine) with everything and every style in between. The 60s influence is present in songs like Close to You and the Close Harmonies in “in it for Love” – Just like the variety in Sgt Peppers!
2. The clarity of the voices – I don’t know if it was Dad that did the mixing but the voices are crystal clear and the harmonies tight and varied. Overall production values are very high with variety of additions, Banjo’s, childrens choirs, extracts from film soundbites etc used very effectively.
3. Impressive musicianship by both MLT and others. Some of the guitar riffs are outstanding – George would be proud of you!
4. looking forward to the next album but even more I am looking forward to seeing you Live – even if it means getting you to come to our village fete! ( Just like The Quarrymen at Woolton fete in 1957 when Paul met John)

‘Orange’ is a throw-back, in the best of all possible senses; an instant classic. A record that is simultaneously old-fashioned and refreshingly new. One listen and you could almost swear that you had known, and loved it for decades.
I’m tempted to say that ‘Orange’ is an album that was made they way they USED to make them, but even back in the proverbial ‘day’, ‘Orange’ would have been fairly uncommon. Every track on ‘Orange’ was written, arranged and produced by MLT, as well as singing and playing all the instruments (with a bit of help, notably John Sebastian on two songs). They did it ALL, and there weren’t too many artists that could claim as much, even back in the 60s. I do not believe I am exaggerating when I say that if ‘Orange’ HAD been recorded in the 60s (and to listen to it, it very well COULD have been) it would rank right up there with the best the decade has to offer.
I was also tempted to say that ‘if you love 60s rock and roll, you will love this album’. While that IS true, it falls somewhat short of the mark, as the musical styles and obvious influences are a great deal more far-ranging than that. I won’t attempt an track-by-track analysis, as other reviewers have already done that (and probably more intelligently than I could) but I would like to share a few personal observations:
I listened to the opening track repeatedly attempting (in vain) to identify the voices. I caught Lennon, Elvis and Maxwell Smart quickly enough, and I’m fairly certain that there is a Kennedy (John?) in there. I would love it if someone could share the sources for the rest of the voices, as well as those that pop up during ‘No More Worries Society’, esp. the one at the end ‘You’re Taking it as a Joke!’ I really feel that I ought to know that one! 🙂
I LOVE ‘Close to You’, esp. the vocal hook in the chorus (‘is it true that the good things don’t last’), which I think is one of the catchiest things I’ve heard in years.
My wife’s favorite track is ‘Count on Me’, which to me sound hauntingly familiar, esp. the chorus. It reminds me very much of something… I just can’t quite put my metaphorical finger on it. Maybe somebody could help me out with this one.
Another stand out track (in an album FILLED with stand out tracks) is ‘Sweet Lorraine’. The title made me think immediately of Nat King Cole, but I don’t think that Nat’s Sweet Lorraine was an insanely jealous murderess. She might have been, though, for all we know. They didn’t air dirty laundry like that in public in the 40s. 🙂
All in all, a truly excellent album, and to repeat what others have already said…. Please don’t make us wait 5 more years for the next one! 🙂

I would first like to comment on a really well written review by Mr. Mick Francis. I hear Elvis where he hears Lennon…. otherwise a spot on review that details my feelings almost identically. ‘Once Upon A Time’ brings me right back to the 1967 Summer of Love in ‘Frisco – beautiful singing, guitar playing and stellar production! Not mentioned are the references to Dylan’s ‘The Times They Are A-Changing’, The Beach Boys “I Can Hear Music’, Donovan’s ‘Season Of The Witch’ and The Who’s ‘Pinball Wizard’. ‘Close To You’ gets me thinking of those early childhood loves – beautifully sung with awesome phrasing. ‘In It For Love’ has the most gorgeous harmonies by two angels. ‘Count On Me’ is so direct and seems to come straight from Mona to me – my fav. ‘Club 27’ is a super take on the big band swing number ‘Sing, Sing, Sing’ by Louis Prima – outstanding flash guitar work, Lisa!!! Concluding with ‘Still A Friend Of Mine’ the album closes with Mona’s heartfelt plea to everlasting friendship – I’m all in.

Orange shows the Sixties influence MLT were naturally drawn, but also the depth and maturity in their work since their last CD five years ago — they have blossomed into sound songwriters and lyricists in their own right. With flawless harmonies and solid guitar work, they bring that sound to Orange and make it their own. Skilled arrangements and quality production add to the eclectic mix of songs that make this album an absolute pleasure to spend time with.
MLT are multi-instrumentalists covering genres of jazz, rock, blues, pop and folk on Orange. The tracks Once Upon A Time and the bluesy Waiting For The Waiter, feature John Sebastian of The Lovin’ Spoonful playing a soulful harp. Still A Friend Of Mine is the most emotionally-rich track, combining moving vocals and heartfelt lyrics to a song that we can all somehow feel moved by.
Like many artists before them, MLT cut their musical teeth playing Beatles’ covers —along with other Sixties groups — and posting them on YouTube. Unlike many others, they covered them extraordinarily well, staying close to the original recordings, and using their outstanding harmonies and skilled musicianship to make them theirs and bring you back to watch them over and over. Their work payed off handsomely.
The eclectic mix that is Orange will have you hoping there isn’t a five year gap until the next MLT release. Until that release, we have Orange, an album that will most definitely stand the test of time as one of their best.

I’ll list my favourites…
“Still A Friend of Mine” – you’ve got to be kidding me! what experienced song-writing here. Such a well constructed song, though I wished it didn’t finish at the end so quickly. It was so refreshing to have piano introduced as contrast to guitar. (not that I’m complaining though) This track is a masterpiece; beautiful chord structure that emotionally moves the melody. Well done girls.
“Count on Me” – The other tracks that stand out to me are this one – what such a refreshing delicately executed song. Brilliant! (love to hear a piano ballad version).
“In It For Love” – Like the above, a refreshing sound with a feel of a pre-sixties sound. Excellent harmonies. A nice refreshing feel.
“Sweet Lorraine” – As soon as I heard this, it gave me that stacatto feel of Eleanor Rigby. Great song with a lovely chorus. I was expecting a fade-out to the song, but we get surprised by an abrupt finish. (which actually wants us to play the song again)
“That’s Life” – Firstly, what a fantastic video film clip. I can only sentiment others’ comments on this great song. A complex, yet well constructed song, with that catchy melody!”
“Close To You” – Terrific song and beautifully sung! This lovely song would sound great performed ‘live’ — even with a version with a harder edge rhythm guitar. (personal view only) A delicate melody attributes to this material. Nice song girls!
“Waiting For The Waiter” – We all got a taste of the Orange album with this first. It has a definite country feel. Okay, now for a humorous comment… love to see this performed ‘live’ with Mona & Lisa wearing gun and holster, like out in the wild west! (though a bit hard whilst playing guitar – hehe).

In 2014, I stumbled upon the MonaLisa Twins’ exquisite cover versions of “God Only Knows” and “Bus Stop” on YouTube. Then I discovered their own material (the album “When We’re Together”) as well as the other brilliant covers they’ve done. I’ve been following their progress ever since, and also had the pleasure to witness some of their great live performances at various music venues in Liverpool.
It’s been two years since the release of their latest original song “That’s Life”, but by releasing an album as strong as “ORANGE”, they prove that it has definitely been worth the wait!
The MonaLisa Twins’ love of sixties music is obvious, but there are several different styles present on this album. The song “No More Worries Company” reminds me of a musical style from decades earlier. Listen to the uptempo “Club 27” for some magnificent rock guitar playing.
Beautiful harmonies are everywhere on “ORANGE”, and the arrangements and production throughout is excellent. John Sebastian contributes wonderful blues harp playing on two of the songs.
What impresses me the most about “ORANGE”, is that it’s a team (family) of just four people who have done basically everything here, from song writing and arrangements to performance and production.
I can’t wait to get an opportunity to hear this material performed live!

We all know that music reviews are subjective no matter how much the writer claims objectivity. Reviews are influenced heavily by how much the reviewer likes or dislikes the reviewed and other personal preferences of said reviewer. With this in mind I, as a ‘fan’ of the Mona Lisa Twins [MLT] for a couple of years or so now, will try to keep my reviews … sensible! I can write wholeheartedly that any words of praise for ‘ORANGE’ that I write will be woefully inadequate in expressing just how amazing I feel the album is.
When I found out about ‘ORANGE’ there was little information about the album other than it was by MLT and the suggestion that the album would be a new direction for the group. Alarm bells started ringing! How many times have we read ‘… a new direction for the group …’ for any group and found that the new direction was not to our taste or somehow degraded the group or, I can think of a few, over commercialised the group by going with whatever the recent music fashion was? My fears proved unfounded when I first listened to ‘ORANGE’.
As a whole, the new MLT album is very true to previous MLT material. MLT are adored for the materials from a bygone age that they ‘cover’ such as hits by The Beatles, The Hollies and others from the same era. This adoration is also given to MLT for previously released original works that are written by the artists. This new album ‘ORANGE’ of original work does not disappoint and will, without doubt, be adored by fans of MLT. It will be no wonder to this reviewer that anyone new to MLT will not be disappointed by the album either.
The album ‘ORANGE’ is in a format that I quite like! Though each track can be enjoyed independently, from the start the album kind of tells a story. On the whole the story told is about life. It would be easy to compare ‘ORANGE’ to albums that became classics of other groups and master classes in composition.
TRACK REVIEWS
Following is my review of each track for those of you still reading and those that have skipped to this point;
1. The Future: This clutter of sound will seem somewhat strange or confusing on first play but lays down the foundations for what follows very well and, maybe strangely, makes more sense as the album continues or is replayed.
2. No More Worries Company: This puts me in mind of a cheeky, witty show tune from a stage musical. The lyrics are fun and the tune is very upbeat and raises a chuckle. Like a friendly, warm welcome to the hearth on which the rest of the album gently simmers this track embodies the cheery, fun and staying groovy attitude MLT are known for.
3. Once Upon A Time: Arguably an instant classic, this track puts me in mind of a certain style of mid to late sixties ‘eastern’ influenced music mixed with a deep ‘bluesy’ style. With many a, seems to me, tip of the hat to the artists that have influenced MLT and somewhat meaningful lyrics, this is a wonderful track.
4. Close To You: This track is a superb exploration of wonder and misfortune romance can bring. This is a quintessentially 60’s love song and, to me, would not be out of place if on an album performed by artists such as Chad and Jeremy or Peter and Gordon.
5. It’s Alright: Fast, fun, a little pop like and a clear display of how well the twins voices play off each other. I see this track as a great expression of personal liberty done with the joyous charm MLT often show.
6. Waiting For The Waiter: This track, with the help of John Sebastian on blues harp, is simply outstanding. The lyrics are full of imagery that is, arguably, open to interpretation. This track really does show how well the twins have come along in terms of great song writing. I could not help but think of the Samuel Beckett play ‘Waiting for Godot’ when listening to this track. Also, without going too deeply into a discussion on the matter, I could not stop myself thinking; ‘Should we really wait for the change or get up and go for the change or even make the change ourselves?’. (Define change!)
7. In It For Love: I ‘ain’t misbehaving’ when I write this review! This song is entirely modern in a very nostalgic way. The tune is lightly melodic fun and the lyrics are cheekily optimistic. Once again the vocals here are perfectly matched. I could easily put this song to the top of my favourites of songs that are similar.
8. Count On Me: How heartfelt and beautiful can a song be? Get the tissues ready! With a prominent yet (deceptively) simple guitar leading the dreamy instrumental part and a wonderful vocal rendition by both twins this track is purely magical.
9. Sweet Lorraine: Is this a Beatles song? (I know it’s not). This song is saccharin sweet – but in a good way. A story song that is humorous, sarcastic and mischievous all at the same time this track pleases very much.
10. That’s Life: The very first line in the lyrics of this song got me hooked! The lyrics are full of self deprecating humour of the best kind, down beat optimism and joyously forth rite advice. This song brings an ironic laugh and a smile hard to drop. The guitar work and percussion on the track has a fun clarity. Is that a cowbell I hear? Needs more – chuckle! The song is so infectious it should come with a health warning.
11. Club 27: Though I am familiar with the idea, it took me a minute to realise what the title ‘Club 27’ was referring too – and here’s me a Fortean! Energetic and fast music with Hendrix like guitar work and sang in a let loose and lovin’ it fashion with a tip of the hat to hotel California lyrically this track is vibrant to say the least.
12. Still A Friend Of Mine: Another tear jerking beauty. This track is a personal love song with echoes of universality beyond the simple. Or is it? Listening to the track, one could be easily forgiven for thinking it is as I just described. Reading the lyrics brings to mind other words such as ‘roguish’, ‘rebellious’ and ‘inciting’ though. Either way, this track has an exquisiteness that is easy to accept yet, somehow, hard to explain.
Thank you for the music (and I tried so hard not to mention ABBA). Mona and Lisa (and co) you never cease to please. This album ‘ORANGE’ is great for your fan base and, I have no doubt, will bring on board many who were previously unaware of your work and make fans of the curious.
I own the CD of ‘ORANGE’ and eagerly await my vinyl copy!

Tell me about the first time you were moved by music. I’ll tell you about my first time. It was when I discovered my parent’s vinyls and their old stereo phonograph. Music by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, Frank Sinatra …the list and hits goes on.
Now, tell me about the LAST time you were moved by music. I can tell you about the last time I was moved by music. A year ago, I watched The Mona Lisa Twins version of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. That video left me wanting more. I binge watched ALL of their videos and purchased every track they had. Their latest release, ORANGE, brought me back to that time I discovered those vinyls and watched that video. The melodies and lyrics brought those same feelings back. It’s that good.
There were sultry bluesy moments followed up by psychadelic haze and then I’m suddenly transported to a dive bar with John Sebastian on blues harp (I want to say it, “harmonica”, there I said it). The various genres they explored kept me hooked from the first note to the last.
The only sad thing about this album is the fact that it must end. That’s okay, just play your CD in repeat mode and you’re set. “Nothing ever lasts forever, my oh my”.

Words fail me at this point, and though I could pick them out from a thesaurus, I couldn’t even begin to describe just how wonderful I think ‘ORANGE’ is. So I’ll keep the hyperbole to a minimum and give a track by track review of what I think is a groundbreaking masterpiece that certainly ranks right up there with ‘Village Green Preservation Society’, ‘Rubber Soul’ and ‘Pet Sounds’.
1. The Future: A sound collage that sets the mood in just the right way, The Future is a short, yet intriguing sign of things to come.
2. No More Worries Company: Seamlessly combining the sound of quintessential ’60s pop with the roaring twenties, No More Worries Company is a cheeky reminder that the MonaLisa Twins are an uproarious bunch with a sense of humour that is as endearing as it is clever. The instrumentation on this song is an absolute hoot! This deserves to be a HUGE hit!
3. Once Upon A Time: Clearly paying homage to their (and our) heroes, Once Upon A Time, with its Byrds-inspired guitar and nostalgic hippie lyrics is one of those tracks that makes you proud to be a fan of Rock n’ Roll. Dripping with allusions to other classic rock songs, this one is a classic all of its own.
4. Close To You: The MonaLisa Twins have absolutely nailed the ’60s aesthetic while updating it to sound relevant, fresh, and inventive. This obviously isn’t news to anybody who has ever heard their music, but Close To You is probably their finest take on romance and heartbreak distilled through the sound of The Beatles, The Left Banke, and The Zombies. Of course, they merge those elements to deliver their own signature sound. If there’s any justice in this world, this song will get a ton of airplay!
5. It’s Alright: This is such a delightful song with signature MLT harmonies, a fantastic British sound, and sunny lyrics that perfectly capture the spirit and joyousness of timeless pop. The MonaLisa Twins are undoubtedly the finest ambassadors of pop music that we have around and It’s Alright is a great example of their mastery.
6. Waiting For The Waiter: This one is an instant classic! I’ve been addicted to ‘Waiting For The Waiter’ for nearly a month now and right from the remarkable dobro and slide guitar to John Sebastian’s astounding blues harp, and lyrics dripping with imagery, this song just goes to show the leaps and bounds that the twins have taken in terms of songwriting since ‘When We’re Together’.
7. In It For Love: Where has this song been all my life? It’s definitely my new motto! I suppose it perfectly describes the twins and their worldview, but it’s so universal with blissfully optimistic lyrics and melodic guitar work, not to mention the twins’ breathtaking voices, that it not only transcends its genre but also rises to the top of it.
8. Count On Me: The poignant lyrics and beautiful vocals on ‘Count On Me’ almost had me in tears. Lisa’s vocal delivery is heartrending, and Mona’s harmonies hit you right in the feels. The stripped down production and guitar may seem deceptively simple but they’re as effective as it gets. If I ever had to play a song by MLT to someone who isn’t as much of a sixties fan as I am, it’s this one. I’m sure ‘Count On Me’ will continue to be a song that I can always count on in times of joy and sadness.
9. Sweet Lorraine: With its clever wordplay, storybook imagery, and Zombies-inspired melodies, Sweet Lorraine, akin to ‘A Rose For Emily’ or ‘Another Day’, gets into the skin of the character and makes you feel like you’ve known her all along. Mona’s vocals are so effective and compelling! I absolutely LOVE the lyrics on this one.
10. That’s Life: I’ve loved this song ever since I first became a fan of the twins and it’s a brilliantly crafted track that’s brimming with wisdom, humour and infectious hooks. It’s precisely the kind of song that ‘starts with a smile that won’t wipe off your face no matter how hard you try’.
11. Club 27: This track is smoking! Like so many others, I have always been fascinated by the ’27 Club’, but I positively could never write a song this good about it! Lisa’s blistering Hendrix-inspired guitar work is a highlight of this album, and I’d kill to see them perform this one live.
12. Still A Friend Of Mine: It’s astonishing just how beautiful this track is. It almost had me in tears and wanting more! The lyrics are both personal and universal, and address the global situation in the most succinct manner. Like all brilliantly written songs, however, it can be interpreted any way you choose. I know I’ll still be listening to this fifty years from now!
To cap it all off, If ‘When We’re Together’ was The MonaLisa Twins’ ‘Please Please Me’, ‘ORANGE’ is their ‘Revolver’. The growth in songwriting, production, and performance is absolutely staggering. This is a gem of an album that rarely comes along and deserves to be treasured by every music fan.

Orange is a complete Masterpiece! Mona and Lisa have jumped straight from their “Please Please me” debut to “Revolver” with this album! Every song is a hit with the care and effort which was taken showing through on every single cut with amazing results! So many different types of music are here ranging from burlesque to psychedelic rock to blues to folk with some Pepper/Penny Lane thrown in for good measure. To me “Still A Friend of Mine” is my favorite bringing a serious tear to my eye every time I listen. A fantastic experience all the way around and thank you ladies for all of the joy you have given us! It is worthy of at least six, seven or more stars! When I first heard Pink Floyds “Wish you were here”, Supertramp “Even in the quietest moments”, Beatles 1962-1966 (The Red Album) and 1967-1970 (The Blue Album), and now the MonaLisa Twins Orange Album. This is truly good stuff, every single track, as each one is so intimate and personal. It’s like the very best of the last 55 years of rock music all came together in perfection and harmony. Mona and Lisa have truly created a masterpiece of an album, and to think all this great music was whirling around in their heads for the last 2 years. I still have goosebumps from Tracks 8 and 12 among others, and I know I’m going to enjoy listening to this album for many years to come. The world really needs to hear this album!

The Mona Lisa Twins knock it out of the park with ORANGE. They take a variety of styles and play with them with dexterity, ease and a confidence seen only in history’s talented best. The Mona Lisa Twins present themselves lightly with lots of humor, but their lyrics are intelligent, deep and conscious like we haven’t seen since the 60’s. While their sound is reminiscent of the 60’s and 70’s, it still sounds new and fresh.
The harmonies in ORANGE are among the best ever recorded, with the guitars keeping up with the pace. Orchestrations are simple yet to the point, without ever overdoing it. It’s clear talent overflows in every direction.
