I’ve only really listened to MLT sing covers and I was curious to hear them sing some of their own material. I was not disappointed, loved the album and there was a good mix of songs on it.
From a logistical point of view, my order came through quickly and well packed. I loved the album cover too.

They’ve grown as instrumentalists. I received a vinyl copy of this album and am very pleased with it. For years, the MLTs have known their talents reside in new, original tunes. They answered their fans and I believe this latest Why? will become a legendary recording. The sound is faithful to the nostalgic yet timeless melody lines of yesteryear.

Received my “Why” vinyl album and wow! Every song is a gem. And in the tradition of those great albums I grew up with in the 1960s, the album jacket artwork is just as awesome as the songs inside. I have been ordering from the MonaLisa Twins for a few years now and have never been disappointed. They are the real deal and deserve to be heard! Looking forward to hearing more from them in the future! They rock!

There is nothing like the smooth, pure sound of a vinyl record album and this WHY? album is remarkable. Every song on the album is Good…Period, The End. The email I received asked me to leave a review and said “Let us know if you’re happy” Are you kidding? My album is personally signed by both Mona & Lisa and I am Ecstatic!

This is a review of the vinyl release as I’ve been listening to the CD for many months. The music is amazing, and greatly exceeded my expectations (I did a longer review for the CD version which you can find on this site). The vinyl comes in a black package with lovely large cover art. Other than that it sounds great (especially the bass) and neatly complements my CD, art print and buttons for the full Why? experience. If you have not heard this album yet I totally recommend you get a copy as you won’t regret it!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is one of the best albums of all time.
If you think I’m exaggerating, just take a listen.
WHY? Vinyl? This concept album begs to spun on the turntable. My engineer brain wants to tell me that the digital sound is the same or better than the uncompressed analog signal, but my ears just love the silkiness of analog vinyl. Placing a record on the turntable, allows us to stop everything else and just enjoy the music, without “multitasking” and this is what this masterpiece deserves. Every single song is a gem. Treat yourself and you’ll be taken on an enlightening and uplifting journey.

I’m a vinyl nut, so I just had to have this for my collection. Obviously the autographed jacket is a forever keepsake in it’s own right, but for me the music itself is the real reason I have it. Just the purity of the sound is the greatest gift the girls can give me. Love it!

This album is outstanding and is a must for anyone. As you listen to the wonderful music you can look for each song in the cover artwork. Be aware though that the music will take you away and you will forget about finding the song in the artwork. 🙂

I am so glad WHY? is available on vinyl. There is no better way to honour a great album than on this glorious media. I love the tactility of placing the vinyl on the turntable, watching the label revolve, and then gently lowering the stylus into the grooves. Then you hear the crisp beautiful music being created by analog vibrations from the grooves of the vinyl to the stylus. In my vinyl collection I have Beethoven’s 9th Symphony by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by legendary Herbert Von Karajan, and the studio masterpiece rock/pop albums Rubber Soul, Pet Sounds, Sargent Peppers, and Orange, and now I can proudly add WHY?. WHY? is an album that has the emotional depth and musical complexity and genius of the albums I mentioned above by Beethoven, Beatles, and Beach Boys. Created with amazing musicianship, and brilliant song writing prowess, it is an inspired masterpiece. Songs like Any Other Day, Jump Ship, and WHY? stop me in my tracks, filling me with incredible passion and emotion, I only thought Beethoven and the Beatles could achieve. I am in awe of this album.
