Sweet Lorraine – New Video

Sweet Lorraine (Original) – Duo Session

Howdy people!

We hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for Christmas!

We have spent the last month working on new music, creating content for the MLT Club Advent Calendar, preparing for an upcoming live stream (more on that later) and baking and eating our bodyweight in Christmas cookies.

But today we want to share a video with you that we had recorded earlier this year. If you own our The Duo Sessions album you will know this stripped-back duo version already and if you own our ORANGE album you will know it in its original fully-produced form!

So far, only MLT Club Members will have seen the video for it as it was originally recorded as a Club exclusive. Today we want to share it with you all!

It’s a sweet and nasty song … enjoy! 😉

MLT Club Live Stream tomorrow

If you’re an MLT Club member you’ll be seeing us as soon as tomorrow when we will be able to tick off one more thing from the bucket list: Our first MLT Club live stream!

It will be a great way to say thank you to all members who have been absolutely amazing this year. We’ve been having lots of fun this past month with the virtual MLT Club Advent Calendar and we feel all the wonderful interactions strengthened the sense of community within the MLT Club further.

As a Christmas surprise we decided that we will conclude the festive Advent Calendar celebrations with an MLT Club exlusive Christmas live stream.

We will be playing a couple of songs, answering fan questions, opening Christmas fan mail, eating even more cookies and just hanging out with everybody. We’re really excited and hope to see many of your there!

You will find the streaming link in the MLT Club tomorrow and we’ll also send out another remind email to all Members.

We’ll start tomorrow, 23rd December at 10 pm GMT, here are some useful time conversions:

London – 10 pm
Los Angeles – 2 pm
New York – 5 pm
Berlin – 11 pm
Moscow – 1 am
Sydney – 9 am

And if you aren’t a member yet, your can of course still change that 🙂

Join the MLT Club to watch the Live Stream tomorrow

That concludes all the news of the day from us 🙂

We send much love across the globe, want to wish you a Merry Christmas and will see you all soon.

Big hugs,

Mona & Lisa

It is now official, it is Christmas Hans Gruber has left the tower, just watched Die Hard one of my favorite holiday movies. Merry Christmas one and all, I trust you all stay safe and heathy. Have a wonderful New Years too and I trust this next one is better. I was at the VA Hospital in Syracuse New York, I was seeing my heart doctor and he told me that they have the covid shots and will be getting it to us in a week or too. I am really enjoying meeting all of you and of course those wonderful ladies Mona and Lisa and their family. God bless you all.

Scary but intriguingly beautiful song – like its protagonist! Yes – like someone else said in the company of Maxwell’s Silver Hammer. Always wowed by your writing, harmonies, and excellence on your instruments. Just noticed – I have the same Epiphone (mine is the blonde one) – has turned out to be a really reliable guitar while I keep hesitating to bring my other ones in for set-up during the panedmice – no Autocorrect I meant pandemic! Happy Holidays and a super healthy 2021!

Super!! I love the way you really enjoy singing and playing together! The harmonies a sweet and the guitar (especially the fills, riffs and solo) are spot on!! I feel it’s YOUR version of the Beatles’ “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” … but completely unique and all your own 😉 🙂 I love it!! 🙂 Keep it coming!!

I agree, Gregory! Definite Maxwell’s undertones plus maybe a nod to “Mack the Knife” as well. FUN song with a sinister side!

Very interesting! Thank you for a music!

One of my favorites of your songs……..this one and Still A Friend of Mine. It is edgier and Lisa plays the guitar with precision and Mona sings!! I’m sure there is a back story to the song and there are times I would like to know it…….and sometimes I don’t think I should know. Mike.

Sweet Lorraine is brilliant, and goes to show your song writing excellence are right up there in the realm of what the Beatles and other great 60s legends you admire have achieved. The finesse with which you play your music and perform on stage is matched by your remarkable song writing talent, and everything you produce these days keep pushing the envelope getting greater and greater. Keep going, your passion and music will speak for itself to light up the world in remarkable brilliance like the 60s did. The world needs you, and it’s just the beginning.

Love the tune and harmonies….nice to hear refreshing new melodies, penned in a sort of traditional way, but with a modern twist, much more palatable than chart stuff that feature too many vocal gymnastics……..don’t stop what you are achieving.

Well girls, you know I just love everything you’ve done and are doing. My Christmas is off to a huge leap from listening to the Christmas album., You are so very original. On this song the guitar licks have me thinking of corn popping in the fireplace. Way back when ago County Joe and the fish had a song titled the same on their first album. Beyond the title there is no comparison. Yours feels like being happy and wanna chase the girl. Theirs you get the feeling they want to catch her and maybe, I don’t know, maybe; isolate her, haha! The duoo album is getting a lot of play here, lol and Merrrry Christmas!

Hi Mona and Lisa; it gets a little gloomy here in Michigan this time of year….cold and gray skies. Then add the “Rona” situation. blaaah!! But like always I listen to your music and find a massive ray…no…BEAM of sunshine! Thank you sisters for that. My heart is smiling. I’m wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and God Blessed New Year. With much love from The Great Lake State U.S.A. Butch.
